The planning and implementation of Welcome Weeks is assisted by Sophomore Council. Sophomore Council is made up of current sophomore students who are passionate about introducing new students to the Razorback Family and love organizing, planning, and facilitating events to do just that!

Each year 15 exceptional first-year student leaders are chosen to be a part of the Council. They are led through leadership training by Junior Leaders who provide direction and support in their efforts. Together they plan various events during both the fall and spring Welcome Weeks and volunteer at various events during the beginning of each semester. They dedicate their time and energy to welcome new students to the University of Arkansas and become amazing leaders within other organizations on campus including ASG, Greek Life, Housing, and NSFP.
