Every semester the University of Arkansas and Fayetteville community join together to welcome new and returning students to campus. For two weeks in the fall and one week in the spring the U of A campus goes Hog Wild for HOG W.I.L.D. (Welcome, Involvement, Leadership, and Diversity) Welcome Weeks. Students are invited to attend a wide variety of events sponsored by several campus departments, academic colleges, student organizations, and community vendors, all designed to help students transition to life on The Hill. Get your share of FREE stuff, meet tons of people, and show your Razorback Spirit. Welcome to the Razorback Family and your new home at the “U of A”.
What Do You Do the Week Before Welcome Weeks?
A-Week is designed to aid incoming first-year students in their transition from high school to college by providing programming focused on student success in and outside of their classroom experience. A-Week begins right after students move-in and is filled with events the week before the fall semester starts. Each day of A-Week focuses on a specific theme related to student success including Tradition, Involvement, and Wellness. Click above for more information and the full schedule.

Get directions to and from anywhere on campus, follow bus routes, and locate parking and points of interest through the University. Did we mention it’s updated to reflect campus construction? Plan your routes here.
Help-a-hog is here for you! Students, faculty and staff from all over campus spend the first two days of each semester staffing Help-A-Hog tables located in high-traffic areas to assist students. Check out the table map here.
