Introduction to Top Rope Belay Clinic

The two-hour course is the perfect place to teach you the basics of climbing Top Rope and helps you “learn the ropes” with a comprehensive introduction to belaying technique that can be used to climb at the UREC Climbing Wall. Our lesson includes a tutorial on proper top rope belay technique and how to properly use climbing equipment. This class will give you all the tools you’ll need to take the Top Rope Belay Assessment! All equipment is provided, registration is required.
